Great pictures Graham but how do they turn their heads like that ? Andrew I'm sorry to hear you unable to take any pictures but there is always next time to look forward to.
Another one from me...
Hahaha, we tried to visit Skomer earlier this year too and saw this at the cafe. Here is the best pic I got of a Puffin that day.
This was as we crossed the bridge out of Pembroke Dock.
Thankfully when we visited Bempton a few weeks back we were lucky enough to get some great views of them. Seeing all these pics just makes me smile. Great, photogenic bird. Superb thread.
Slow down, look closer, appreciatte more.
Such adorable birds. So cute and full of character. I'd love to see one in the wild but alas never have. Maybe one day! Great pics, everyone. :)
Hi all we went to Rathlin island up off the Antrim coast ,and we were to late they had all gone ,so the nearest picture I got was this one at the Lighthouse entrance
We might get to see the real thing next year
Regards Mick
Work is for those people that don't Bird-watch!!!!
Sorry to hear you missed them Mick. It appears that they must have gone really early this year.
Looking at the pictures I'm not sure if it's the bill or that sad eye that really makes these wonderful bird look great.
Great idea Robert! I have never seen a wild puffin before, everyone's photos are excellent! They have such comical faces :)
