Over the years I have always have had trouble capturing a Jay.
So this one made me really happy.
Please click on image.
Lovely shot - same goes for me with Jays, not a real decent shot yet so am well jealous of this one. One day hopefully(-:)
WOW Robert that's a beautiful photo, i've not managed to get a close one yet.
Is it a youngster?
Blimey Robert, he is a beauty! No wonder you were happy,
Hi Robert, that is some colourful bird well captured ,it looks grand with the greens dark and light ,thanks for sharing
Smashing photo Robert, well done!
Wow, that's a beautiful bird and a beautiful picture, well done!
Gosh, how fluffy he looks - definitely looks like a young un. I know how you feel - I never even saw a jay in the flesh until a week ago when one appeared in the garden and we were soooooo excited. We got a few shots off - but through the window (that could really do with a clean) so we don't have the wonderful brightness and colours that you have, but here he is
Great picture. It's funny because the garden visitors I take for granted are such a rare treat for others. we have 2 Jays regularly visit the tables and have managed to get loads of good (and plenty more bad) pics of them, yet I'm always envious of the Goldfinches that folks get. Anyway, yeah great shot of some very ruffled feathers.
Great picture Deb and I know how you feel.
Veggie your so right. We get loads of Goldfinches in our garden. White sunflower hearts on a feeder right in the middle of the lawn.
Cracking shot Robert! That bird is my nemesis too!
Great photo, Robert. It does look like a young one which is perhaps why it posed so well for you. The adults are very shy and wary.
yeyyyyyyyyyyyy Robert, he came back yesterday for a munch................thankfully on the suet on not my fledglings!
Great shots Deb. Love the suet in the air.
yes - amazing how a bit of sunshine and a cleaner window will help lol
