Sorry Galatas but they just keep posing for me. This young male was not in my garden. I was down in Gloucestershire for a family party over the weekend where these were taken.
Wow Brilliant photos TJ love the last one..include me in going Grrrr
Thanks Alan. He was giving his alarm call in that last one
They've arrived back on my patch after nesting (i assume) so the hunt is on again for a decent photo lol.
Brilliant! I noticed that the latest post was from Galatas, and wondered if the reaction fitted with the thread title.
Superb photos by the way.
Absolutely stunning pics TeeJay! Love the detail, and doesn't he have a range of 'expressions'...........
Pffuff. I've never even seen one, and they just seem to follow you about! LOL
Those are truly stunning photos TJ.
RoyWBrilliant! I noticed that the latest post was from Galatas, and wondered if the reaction fitted with the thread title.
It's a bit of a running joke, Roy, because I've been lucky enough to get some half decent shots of these cracking birds.
Thanks guys and gals. All taken from my personal hide which happened to be from a bedroom window at my relative's house. I'm all in favour of easy birding. LOL
They are just fabulous Teejay and add me to the list of those going Grrrrr as well! I've never, ever seen one let alone be able to take a photo and am just hopeful that it will happen one day! Great bird hide you've got there! He couldn't have posed better for you if he'd tried.
Great photos, TJ. Bedroom window? Now you're just showing off!
Great pictures TJ and was lucky enough to come across two on a late evening walk around Dungeness.
Stunning pics,to quote one of my mums old sayings when it come to being in the right place, "you must have trod on fairies pooh this morning".
Shane "you must have trod on fairies pooh this morning".
Thanks Shane. You just get lucky sometimes. More likely to have been dog poo down there. LOL
