Having not been out for two days, sorting out summer holiday accommodation etc, I was alowed out this afternoob. Unfortunately it was very grey and lots of moisture in the air. I opted to go up the M5 to Upton Warren to see what was there. Green Sandpiper was first up. Next the Avocets...

After an enjoyable Easter weekend visiting family up North, I was able to get out this afternoon and enjoy the sunshine though we still had a cold wind. Today was grey, miserable and drizzle for a large part of the day. However I was surplus to requirements today so decided to go out and visit a new reserve - the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust reserve at Upton Warren. Why pick a day like today to visit a new reserve? Today I went to Cotswold Water Park, as I haven't been there for a proper walk about - only previously visited for cycling with Mrs Bob, when I'm supposed to be getting exercise not enjoyment(-:). Took another walk around Coombe Hill Nature Reserve today. The Red Necked Phalarope was still there today but was as uncoperative as yesterday, remaining well out of decent photo range.Also was able to walk round to the other hide and pool for the first time since the water started to recede and saw...
