Hi Birdfeeder,
Welcome to the forum from me in a gloriously hot Lancashire.
I've read your blog and can feel your enthusiam shining through every word. Your photos are good, too. You are in the right place here to share your experiences and learn from others. Sharing is what we do here, and there are all levels of knowledge and experience. Be careful though, it gets very addictive!
Cheers, Linda.

Thank you for your reply, I hope to get addicted to be honest there is nothing nicer than sharing photos of our British birds
Welcome, and it's really good to see your enthusiasm. Glad that you got a house with a garden and that you already appreciate it for the haven it can be. Long may it last and good luck with attracting the birds - if you can attract half as many as Alan (doggie) you will be a happy man and you will be attracting about twice as many as I do(-:). I like your photos too, nothing wrong with any of them, and I look forward to seeing the new birds that you can attract.
Bob, happily retired(-:)

Lovely what part of Shropshire ?
Welcome from me in Berkshire. Watching birds in your garden can be fascinating especially when you get to know their habits and their likes and dislikes. If you create the right sort of habitat it's surprising what can turn up.
I've never thought of doing a blog so it was interesting to read yours. I do like to take photos of birds though both in the garden and on trips out.
Hope you enjoy the forum. It's good to have an enthusiastic new recruit.
Regards TJ
