Lovely pics Angus- you're so lucky, I never get them in my garden, but have seen them in woodlands. They're fascinating to watch.

Lovely pics Angus, I'm envious, we have had three in the garden this year, but trying to get them altogether is impossible. Chuffed I've managed to get the youngsters now but they haven't a clue about getting up on the peanuts and feed bits from the droppings of the sunflower seeds the goldies/greenies and chaffies throw down.

Managed to snap some more yesterday - this guy seemed quite happy to pose for the camera
