Hi all, I have just joined so that I can tell every one that I have just seen a Hoopoe on my farm at 10.30 this morning I saw a bird that I had seen when in Kenya Has any one else seen one this far North before ?

Hoopoes do turn up in the UK but only in small numbers. Here's a link to some of the most recent sightings.
