You may remember Chris was sprawled out on the ground admiring orchids, this was at an amazing dune system called Ynys-las which is a national nature reserve at the north end of Borth that borders the Dyfi estuary. You can find out more about this brilliant site here and here.

It's not just a great place for wild flowers, the birdlife is pretty good too as well as the invertebrates but for mustelid fans their is a chance of polecats as well as stoats if you are lucky! Keep an eye out to sea as well as i've often seen manx shearwaters off the coast here as well as the occasional grey seal and dolphin.
