Ooh, that's a good shot, Keeta. Not often they show so well. Looks like he might have been enjoying the sunshine.

Cor, well done Keeta, great photo, how difficult are they to spot? I am assuming they keep very still like Heron.
Well, I was really lucky - this one flew in just as I arrived in the hide and stayed almost posing in the sunshine for 5 mins before flying off! Usually they seem to hide in the reeds and are pretty difficult to spot.
Super photo Keeta.
Well done on getting a piccie.
Unfortunately, it's a bird that's avoided my camera this year.
Viv.
Thanks, folks! Just lucky that I was in the right place at the right time, and that the bird kindly waited until I got my camera out before flying off!
Great shot Keeta of a bird I'd love to see. You must be as pleased as punch.

Nice one, Keeta, great photo :)

Lucky you Keeta! What a great photo.
They hide so well that I almost trod on one a couple of years ago - don't ask!
Cheers, Linda.
