Seeing Judi's wonderful Kingfisher which she has uses as an avatar made me take another look at her great flickr site. The Kingfisher picture which is only one of many great images, must be a real favorite of yours.
So as a thanks for your many kind words both here and elsewhere: -

It's beautiful, Robert. You haven't lost your touch - you are still an old smoothie! LOL.
So pleased you like it Judi.
Breathtakingly beautiful Robert!
Hi Robert, how long would it have taken you to produce that Kingfisher and the one you did for me of the Sparrow-hawk
I am really interested to know
Hi Mick a lot depends on the picture but I would say about 5-10 minutes. The more I do it the quicker I'm becoming. I'm please to say that most other peoples pictures are stunning to start with and don't need much work. It's only my own pictures that needs the work.
As you may already know that I have been doing watercolours for sometime now which did take a little time. The change in speed is due to using a photoshop plugin in a different way during the process. It has helped speed up the process at the early stage.
The results are a little different to my watercolour process but just adds another string to the bow.
