thanx for info ed and pics noc - still cannot post pics, problems ongoing but at least can view webcam and capture pics for my file
My photos here (eventually)
When you're trying upload a photo have you also got it open in something like windows photo gallery?..if i have the photo open it wont let me upload it to the forum.
My photos are on Flickr and Website
great disappointment at mo as webcam is down but will keep trying! Have ordered 2Gb ram upgrade for pc (currently only 512Mb) and have new router to improve speed - so here's hoping!!!
The lack of RAM maybe your problem, everything that runs on PC,s these days with the internet, viewing videos and uploading photos will be memory hungry so wont take long to slow it down or even stop some things running.Hopefully your upgrade will cure all your problems.
be glad when they pay the bill and get rid of that obstructing notice - can't count the chicks at feeding time!! A bit of tweaking by my nephew-in-law has restored this ability to post pics and also have LG Osprey live cam back after four days - great - will be even better after forthcoming upgrade - ain't life grand?
have decided to name chicks - Hey Hey we're the monkees - Dave D, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich (that dates me rather well don't you think?)
Hi Wendy, I am not 100% sure but I think another one has died.
Still can't see clearly ed - wind is certainly strong there today - how many do you think there are now?? Sad though but didn't think they could all survive - too big an ask!!
That will make 4, if I am right. That security notice is driving me crackers!
Can you see what is happening now, a conifer cone is in the nest, and the hen was struggling to pick it up and place it out of the nest. She has seemed to have given up, and is now sitting on the cone as well.
morning all - not another infuriating day with the penalty notice cam!!!! what chicks we can see look lively enough though
Thank goodness - webcam cleared of that awful obstruction - we'll be able to count chicks at next feed!!
def saw 4 chicks feeding - little tich front bottom left - but there is a chick trapped underneath at right - lifting it's head but can't seem to struggle out from under!
Morning Wendy, I can only see 4. Can you see the fir cone at 12 0clock, it must have been round the edge of the nest at lest 3 times.
