  • Oh that is a new one Tiger. Great stuff! Looks like they have chicks too :)

  • Thank you TIGER, that's all I need when PPO should be hatching soon ;-)

When I logged on I was surprised to see Mrs nestling down on a chick or two (no idea actually), so I rushed to send the link to my "recording laptop" but by the time I got set up there was only a still pic.  I see that they are still experimenting with the streaming.

She just had a little wriggle so the stream's definitely working :-)

  • OK, before I go to bed (have just gone upside-down again after a respectable phase) here's a brief rough-cut of perry mother about to feed her single chick:

She got in our way after that, can't hang about, goodnight :-)

  • Scylla. Thank you very much for that recording. It shows that the season gets shorter and shorter.

Back in 2005, 2006 etc we used to watch Frodocam from Brisbane. Then the peregrines left and that was that.

  • Yes it was great watching Frodo and Frieda and we were gutted when they moved to another building.

  • Sound asleep now (but one ear will be open, of course):

  • Hi Scylla - can't work out what's with this cam?!  Pic seems frozen at what your one shows - kept refreshing and got the same pic over & over but the clock moves on -  is it because they do not have night vision?

  • Checked again and bird has changed position but I still cannot detect any actual movement or breathing pattern

They do have night vision. It says 3.43 am and the falcon is clearly visible.

Have done that, thanks Tiger - must say that when it firs topened up I thought it was a grey flower vase lol !!!

Forgive me please - it's getting past my bedtime!

  • Tiger - just been looking at cam again and I get a pic that isn't moving - when I refresh I get another still pic at a different time - like the cam at LG that has to be refreshed all  the time - is this what you get???

No the camera is streaming for me.

  • Well so are my eyes now - will do what Chloe suggested in the morning after I have fed cats & birds & got a cuppa!!  Goodnight all
