RSPB successes in 2010

  • Looking back at 2010 with regards to the major step forwards in nature conservation we have been involved with made us think, what stands out as the biggest achievement in the year?

A few ideas that sprang to mind straight away were the progress made at Titchwell with the new hide and earth works, the conviction of the peregrine smuggler and the brilliant increases for cirl bunting, bittern and white-tailed eagle.

There are lots more areas of work that i have not mentioned as yet but we would be interested to hear what RSPB events, campaigns and actions have really caught your imagination over the last 12 months.

Look forward to seeing your comments!

    Hi-

any convictions for raptor killing are to be welcomed  :) - sadly the Hen Harrier situation seems to be worsening   :(  But here in Norfolk we believe a precedent has already been set for that sadly  :(
