Too scary for me - it's bound to have things with lots of legs, etc - eeuuhhh! I get scared of things with lots of legs even in the daylight. I'll stick to birds and cuddly daytime animals I think.

Lol GeoDave! I'm sure there'll be cute cuddly wide-eyed creatures shown as well!
Thanks Majus
love Dr George's enthusiasm for all things creepy & crawly,
Another prog worth recording i think.
Just a reminder as this

Totally agree Doggie,
Amazing !!!!
hello,
Quote;"Dr George McGavin and Gordon Buchanan! Two of my fave presenters!" Yes totally agree. Liked the hanger of the Jaguar passing the hide I could feel the adrenalin running there, the little train on the tracks sound was the presenters ticker going into overdrive..boy was that a close encounter or what? Just imagine that big moggie using the hide as a scratch post dread the thought. Great show well worth the licence fee.

David
"Take only photographs..leave only footprints."
Amazing programme ;ditto ,i thought, as she did too, that she was going to be "mincemeat"!
TT.
Finally caught up with this, total agreement, great footage of some seldom seen creatures large and small. The camera trap footage was amazing, a young ocelot with a coati for dinner was a big surprise. Geodave, you were right about the leg count, lot's of spider action for us arachnid fans!
I wonder what Dr George has found in that cave? Will definitely be tuning in this Sunday!

IanHI wonder what Dr George has found in that cave?
It was a fantastic program and I just loved those 'headlight' click beetles!
For other George fans out there, here's a list of programmes he's involved in coming up - Miniature Britain (BBC1), Prehistoric Autopsy (BBC4), Planet Ant (BBC4), Swarmchaser (BBC1) and Planet Primate (BBC2). The first 2 are due to be aired 'Autumn 2012' but not sure about others yet! :-D
A must watch prog last night especially if you like Bats lol...ARGH
The Blood Transfusion Service Gordon Buchanan came across in that shed I bet that really did have some recoil both in odour shock & awe! If you haven't had a wiff of such I can tell you it's a smell that doesn't go away too easy (from experience). Dr George McGavin in the cave spectacular, I'd be surprised if this programme doesn't receive some sort of an award 2012.
Hi David
I agree about the award, in this series they've found three new species www.bbc.co.uk/.../19102700
