Hello,
My name is Robert Sullivan and I am an American Peace Corps volunteer serving in Bulgaria. Specifically I work at Nature Park Bulgarka.
The park where I work wishes to assemble a collection of bird house plans. I suspect some of these birds will not use bird houses at all, such as the Northern Goshawk, and other species can probably share a design.
These species include;
Alpine Swift
Black Redstart
Blue Tit
Carrion Crow
Common Chiffchaff
Common Cuckoo
Common Firecrest
Common Raven
Common Swift
Common Wood Pigeon
Eurasian Blackbird
Eurasian Collared Dove
Eurasian Golden Oriole
Eurasian Jay
Eurasian Nuthatch
Eurasian Tree Sparrow
European Goldfinch
European Nightjar
European Robin
Great Spotted Woodpecker
Great Tit
Greater Whitethroat
Grey Wagtail
Hawfinch
Hoopoe
House Martin
House Sparrow
Lesser Spotted Woodpecker
Long-tailed Tit
Marsh Tit
Marsh Warbler
Meadow Pipit
Mistle Thrush
Northern Goshawk
Northern Wheatear
Red-backed Shrike
Red-rumped Swallow
Skylark
Song Thrush
Turtle Dove
White Wagtail
Willow Tit
Winter Wren
Wood Warbler
Woodlark
Yellow Wagtail
Yellowhammer
Any assistance or guidance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and best wishes.
A number of these species do nest in boxes, have a look at our website here and here for some useful information on suitable plans.

I have studying the RSPB nest box designs and information. I am just attempting to match the best bird house to the best bird, based on size and species behavior. I will also study the Hawk and Owl Trust information and the BTO's nestbox guide. Thank you.
