can someone advise me on a nest of baby blue tits which are in a nest in my garden. yesterday mum was in and out of the nest but today i have been watching all day and have not seen her not even near by and baby keeps peering out of the nest. if she does not return by this evening should i get them out. please help. if i do what do i feed them?
Hi Sue it will be best to leave them alone if you can see them coming to the opening it sounds like they are not far off fledging, the parent could be cutting down on food to entice them out.
