We appear to have a sparrow, that frequently visits our garden, and the poor thing has no feathers on its head or neck. Is there anything I can do ?
Hi hazz welcome to the forum.
At this time of the year some of the adult birds are not looking their best because they have spent so much of their energy looking after their young, it could also be due to it having mites, the feathers should grow back when they moult.

It's moult time for most garden species in late summer so in a couple of months time it should have regrown it's feathers. You can help it keep it's feather sin good condition by providing a shallow bird bath and an area of open dry soil where they can dust bathe.

Poor little thing, but as the others have said, his feathers will grow back when he moults.
Cheers, Linda.
