Regards Alan
My photos are on Flickr and Website
They are mammals Alan so will do so.Are you after squirrel milk?
I've heard it's good for the scalp..
With one litter a year, young squirrels are weaned at 10 weeks and independent thereafter. Not sure supermarkets stock Squirrel milk? well not the ones i go to!
Its not for sale anywhere I know. They`re only small after all.Cannot be much collected after a milking. They also guard it jealously

hehe.... but seriously, there are some things you just don't want to google :)
You'll get into trouble if anyone checks your PC lol.
We had to give young grandson an anatomy and physiology lesson regarding this little mum a couple of weeks ago - he was worried about her health!

Lovely photos Claire
Well I'm blowed, never thought about it, but there's the truth with your photo and the lovely evidence from Claire. More knowledge has to be good.
Lot to learn
I have a friend who hand-rears orphaned squirrels. A baby squirrel will suckle anything approximately the right shape, including bits of other baby squirrels. One year this resulted in ... erm ... another baby boy squirrel ending up at the vet's to become a Jewish baby squirrel!
A closed mouth gathers no foot.
LOL Maisie nice one.
I love squirrels so much I have 4 regulars and as many as 7 sometimes. All grey though, but Reds haven't been around these parts for a long time. :(
