Help please.... my first thought was coal tit or blackcap BUT! its call was nothing like theirs? ive listened to willow tit and its sounds the same.. can someone give me a positive ID please ;-)
Looks like a long-tailed tit to me.
No doubt someone will be along to prove me wrong :-)

A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song. (Chinese proverb)
My pics are bad and really doesnt show them very well.. im sure there not LTT, very dull in colour. greyish belly and a black head. tiny little thing flitting from branch to branch above my head so im afraid i didnt see his upper body colour.
i have LTT that i see all the time and they sounded nothing like them. sorry, i go by sound as my eyes cant see distance. x
ive now learnt calls that well i can spot my cirl bunting 2 fields away....lol
The size and shape look right for Long Tail.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
FB - no doubt at all that the bird in your photos is a LTT.
:-)
Seriously thinking about trying harder!
photo was taken at funny angle, the bird was no more than 3" from head to tail.
