Found this nest, obviously unused, in a hedge about 1 m. above ground - because of its size, thought it must be a Goldcrest, but now not so sure.

could be a chaffinch or dunnock
may be Robin but I would have left it in the hedge it may be a new nest

Thanks Ray, the nest had some detritus which indicated that it was probably last year's, I would never knowingly go near or interfere with nests or nesting birds, just that my partner found it while gardening and pulled it out. The moss is green because of all the rain recently.
