I would have thought that there would be only a slim chance of juv.White in this country as they are a continental bird.
Agree with the id's,the Yellow is looking a bit worn to me.

A country lane alongside the M6 motorway at junction 22. There are local reports of good numbers of Yellow Wagtails in the area but I only saw one. Pied are much more common pretty much everywhere , aren't they ?

We have had some local reports of good numbers of Yellow Wagtail showing up in places where they are not normally seen in what seems to be family groups.Could these be birds starting an early trip back to their wintering grounds ? I always thought they stayed around till at least early September.
I've got some Yellows on my local patch.
Just adding to the mix , a juvenile Grey Wagtail from 2 months ago.
