My photos are here and here
The bird on the left feeder looks like greenfinch but the ones circled could be female house sparrow. see what others think

Thanks galatas
It could just be a female greenfinch with very prominent markings, but that doesnt really explain the white on her underbelly?
Looks good for a female Greenfinch

Yes that last picture does look greenfinchie
Hi Hawky
I get lots of these female greenfinches in the garden but I still often have to take a closer look to tell at times.

I am going to say its a female Greenfinch. the reason it appears so white underneath. The snow on the ground is acting like a light reflector and bouncing the light back onto the underside of the bird, something you dont see in normal light conditions.

Thanks everyone, forgot about this thread hehe! its amazing how much one bird can vary in looks lol
I'm getting some at the minute that are mainly brown but just with the greenish bar on the wings
Do they moult or is this the wrong time of year? (i know nothing about moulting birds hehe)
A lot of birds have a winter and summer plumage..someone better than me will tell you more.
edit...at the end of summer the garden went quiet as a lot of birds moult including their flight feathers so they lay low for awhile
