Hi, I get up to 20 sparrows visiting my tiny front garden most days. Lots of cats around here so I started to put bird seed, in a fairly standard seed feeder, in the ancient hawthorn hedge that they love. This is well visited and fought over - generally leading to perhaps 50% or more of the seed...

Hi, Here in Yorkshire we are still having cold weather so I am still putting out food for the birds as well as the peanuts and fat balls in hangers. I don't want to make the birds lazy which I know can happen if they get to dependant on food that is put out for them. So should I start cutting...

long tailed tits surprised me, mr williams again, coal tit seems to be here everyday lately, house sparrow waiting for hubby to get home lol and roly mo the pigeon doesn`t understand that the food isn`t on the roof of the bird table LOL
