What a fabulous sight! It always amazes me how these delicate looking little flowers can put on a show no matter what the weather throws at them. Lovely, thanks for showing, it's lifted my spirits no end.

Mine too. I always look forward to the snowdrops flowering - first harbinger of Spring. Of course, it takes much longer to arrive in Scotland so I need every little sign.

April & May can often be beset by the blasts of winter, when a cold wind sends temperatures falling. Since this coincides with the flowering of the Blackthorn, the cold snap is known as a 'Blackthorn Winter'.
I'm glad you like them Birdie. It's dull and drizzly here so I've nothing better to do than post old photos from my hard drive.

I'll echo that. I don't think we've had anyone from Italy on the forum before. We'd like to hear about wildlife in your area, Blubell.
Stunning photos of the crocus, Galatas. Everything seems much more advanced than down here in Berkshire.
