Thanks John. Your two robins really seem very aggressive and territorial. I thought they calmed down untill spring. I have watched two in our garden this morning, who are completely ignoring each other. Hope injured one just had more sense and moved on.

I like to think that way, They are quite mad, there is plenty of food here!
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Thanks for the update John. I can but echo Brenda. Hopefully the injured one is again keeping a low profile and simply letting the other two thrash it out between them.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Goodness! Never noticed much fighting around my garden like it (but then I'm not home much!). I can only join Squirrel & Brenda on their thoughts for the injured one!
