  • Very nice set of photos. They do like fluttering about. Not perhaps the most graceful of birds but I do enjoy watching their antics.

  • very crisp shots Bransley Lad, may i ask what camera you are using please? that a nice high sheeter speed too, are you using a 2.8 lens? light today hasnt been good cracking photography mate, im rather green :))

    Its the Fuji HS10 MANUAL ZOOM. 30x zoom

    I am a point and shoot person so not very technical.

    sunny days get the best results and these pictures were taken through glass from the coservatry.

    It was set to take 7 shots in the second wich is very good for movement.

    The woody is a slow mover so think this is why the pictures have turned out good

    my other camera is PANASONIC LZ5  6X OPTICAL ZOOM and always get good pictures from this little camera and can crop and crop without losing any resolution.

  • HI ray sorry for the delay in getting back to you your point and shoots work very well indeed, i do have a dslr nikon but its quite old tec now but i do have good lens im saving hard for the new nikon D800 but i can only dream about that for now, need a new van 1st lol im not sure whats more important though! shame the chaf is out of foucs,
