I've got a suet block suspended about a foot in front of my kitchen window. In an effort to keep the Starlings off (failed) I've got a sort of lid over the top of it. Blue Tits have no trouble hanging from it but birds that are not so adept will still put in the effort to get at the goodies.
Batman (well he's dressed in black and flies)
Robin

If there was an Olympic Games for birds I would enter these two in one of the gymnastic events.

Truly brilliant !! Well captured TJ.
The truth is I'm mad. We are all mad and many are too mad to know the truth.
I mentioned at the top of this post that I'd got a lid over the top of the suet block holder to try to keep the Starlings off. It hasn't worked although it has made them work a bit harder. Basically. they've learned to cling on (hence the pun) LOL Determined little blighters aren't they.
Where there's food they will find a way lol.
Haha, you have to admire their perseverance food and a work out, love the first photo of the robin.

Wonderful captures TJ and the title is perfect! The first robin does look remarkably like a gymnast on the rings when they do the crucifix move. Brilliant. You just gotta love those starlings, but Batman is amazing. I've never seen a blackbird do that.
Cheers, Linda.
