It was lovely to see about 10 starlings on our bird table this morning. Parents had obviously brought their offspring to the table to learn the ropes.
Hi Pat
I've just got a new batch of youngsters this morning too, noisy little things aren't they lol.

when you feel down take a look outside...nature will uplift you
Hi Pat, I'm really pleased for you and really pleased to say that after ages of barely seeing any Starlings, there are now quite a few in my garden that have been visiting for about the past week or two, I'm over the moon, they are eating me out of house and home and i don't mind one bit Lol ! and I so love to hear all the young battling with each other for the fat slabs, it's really great seeing them all.
The truth is I'm mad. We are all mad and many are too mad to know the truth.
OK Birdie Wild, own up, you sent these lots around to my place haven’t you!!!! Well I don't want them so you can fetch them all back.
and these
and these as well ,they have just flown off heading back in your direction
but then I might keep one or two LOL
Regards Mick
Work is for those people that don't Bird-watch!!!!
It's quite fascinating to watch young starlings get to grips with flying and finding food. The squabbles and chatter make them all the more endearing. Nice photos Mick.
I was just enjoying relative quiet in the garden (starling-wise) since the first lot of babies grew up a bit and stopped screeching. However, back to normal today - lots more new fledglings arrived. Peace shattered.
Cheers, Linda.
