February 2009, heatwave, water for the birds. From the front - Pacific black duck, Crested pigeon, Magpie lark. Due to water restrictions we only watered the lawn near the house to prevent the soil drying out and the house cracking. In the background is our dead lawn.

I'm so glad there are caring people like you who give a thought for the poor animals during a time of hardship such as drought. I'm sure if these three little mites could speak they'd say "thank you" a thousand times over :)
