These guys look pretty but they can become a real nuisance; once you feed them you have to continue. If you stop feeding them they will attack the woodwork of a table, window sills, balcony railings etc! In some towns you are very unpopular if you encourage these birds to stay!

We are lucky to have these guys feed freely in a back yard during the summer months. They quickly learn where the food is; however they take a long time to develop trust of the feeders.
