i am still happily feeding bird seed variations to my garden visitors but would like any advice on trying some natural foods? i have been given lots of ideas like bacon and meat roast fat strips, obviously bread and others.....anyone got anything they`ve tried and had luck with? someone recently told...

i have just taken this with my compact, not bad for a beginner hey lol

i am still waiting for my new camera so in the mean time i take pics with my compact so the quality isn`t always top notch but i still think these are decent enough to recognise what they are xxx

i`m considering the Fujifilm finepix S2000HD camera......is it any good does anyone know? or recommend another?

we are going to be using this spot for a raised pond, any tips of things to include in or around it? its at the side garden on the right side of our house, next to the sheds and it gets quite a bit of sun during summer..x thanks xx

woaahh think i just saw a blue tit coming out 1 of my nest boxes!! yay can i do anything to make em feel comfortable enough to actually nest? i think they already might be yaaayyyy

The past few weeks have been tough. The weather's made our lives difficult, but it's been even tougher for our birds and wildlife. So it's a good job that we can do our bit to help. I've been trudging up my snowy garden to feed the birds every morning - before feeding myself, of course...

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Fieldfare. Seen well, they are a patchwork of colours and textures, with russety back, grey rump and head, white belly, and sharp-chevroned chest on a bed of soft orange. This snowy spell I've had the opportunity to get to know them that bit better...
