We peregrines might be adapting to life in the big cities, but you can find us in our more traditional habitat too.
Dove Stone Reservoir is perfect for us with its craggy rock outcrops and secluded ledges, not to mention the plentiful supply of tasty bites to eat!
But we're not the only attraction - listen out for the bubbling calls of curlews and the plaintive whistle of golden plovers.
And if you look carefully in the streams that feed into the reservoir, you might even spot water voles and delightful dippers!
Pop along to the free viewpoint and find out just why we're so pleased to call this beautiful part of the Peak District National Park our home.
When can you see us?
Friendly staff and volunteers will be at the viewpoint near Ashway Gap picnic area every Thursday to Sunday, 11 am - 3pm (weather/site conditions permitting).
What's at the site?
In nearby Greenfield (a 15-20 minute walk from Dove Stone) there is a pub that serves coffee. Toilets are located in the main car park.
How to find us
The viewpoint is at the Ashway Gap picnic area, about halfway round the main Dove Stone reservoir trail (a 30-minute walk from the main car park or from Binn Green).
