It's great fun flying around at high speed.

We know you can't join us peregrines up here as we soar and swoop over the beautiful city of Bath, but you can still watch us from below.

Get yourself down to the free River Avon viewpoint for great views of us, plus plenty of other wildlife when we aren't around.

Ducks and geese cruise along the river, and if you're lucky you might catch a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher.

You'll also want to take a look at what's under the water. The warm natural waters that heat the Roman Baths flow into the Avon near the viewpoint, making it the ideal spot to see fish - lots of them and big ones, at that!

When can you see us?

Friendly staff and volunteers will be on the River Avon towpath every Saturday to Wednesday, 11am - 5pm. We stay open until 7pm on the last Saturday of every month.

What's at the site?

The viewpoint is in a busy location with all facilities within a five minute walk.

How to find us

The viewpoint is set up on the River Avon towpath next to the North Parade Bridge. It's immediately accessible from the Bath Pavillion car park, or a two minute walk from Bath Cricket Club, and just 200 metres from Bath Spa station.

Steps lead down from North Parade Bridge.
