We robins are bold in personality and plumage so we don't mind a visitor or two.

Why not hop along to the Botanics this summer and take part in a range of family focused weekend wildlife activities?

Staff onsite will help you discover more about the range of wildlife that makes the garden their home from mini beasts, birds through to mammals.

Activities will change each weekend so there will be plenty to keep the whole family busy having fun and learning about the natural world.

Entry to the garden is free. Activities will be free but a small donation towards resources would be most welcome.

When can you see us?

We will be running activities in various parts of the gardens. Please ask at either the John Hope Gateway Reception Desk or East Gate Kiosk for our location. Activities will take place from 12.30pm – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

How to find us

The John Hope Gateway is on Arboretum Place and the East Gate on Inverleith Row.

On street parking is free at weekends.
