Three thousand miles is a long way to fly just to get on telly.

But every March, we ospreys pop over from Africa to raise a new family right here in the romantic Trossachs, where thanks to Forestry Commission Scotland, there is a perfect nest platform waiting for us.

And from April to September, you can watch our every move from the comfort of The David Marshall Lodge.

Screens have been set up to show you images direct from the nestcam - see the moment our eggs hatch right through to the heart-stopping first flights of our chicks. You can also find out our latest comings and goings with the Aberfoyle ospreys blog.

You might also see other fantastic wildlife – such as red squirrels, barn owls, buzzards and pine martens – on camera all year round.

If you've got your walking boots on, why not go for a stroll around the numerous woodland and waterfall walks that all start from the Lodge? With stunning views across to Ben Lomond, the scenery is as awe-inspiring as we are.

Entry to David Marshall Lodge is free. Parking costs £2.

Lovely to see live nest links, brilliant to see conservation in action.
