This season's highlights

The peregrines may have got camera-shy this year and abandoned their nest, but we still Fort Birmingham was brilliant!

From where I'm looking, Birmingham's no concrete jungle.

I'll either be soaring high overhead, or perching on the city's tallest buildings on the lookout for prey. You might even see me in acrobatic pursuit of my dinner, but you'll need sharp eyes because I can hit speeds of more than 200 mph.

You might be surprised to see me and my family here in the city, but it makes perfect sense. You see, Birmingham's tall buildings are just like cliffs – ideal places to build nests on and from where I can easily spot food.

You'll find friendly staff and volunteers at the free viewpoint, where they'll be on hand to tell you more about me, my family and the other fascinating wildlife that share my city home.

They will also show you live and recorded footage of my peregrine cousins at Fort Dunlop thanks to a nestcam installed at their nesting site.

Can't make it to Birmingham? Don't worry, as thanks to BBC Birmingham, you can still follow all the action online.

When can you see us?
