This season's highlights

The peregrines at Cardiff might not have had a family this year, but that didn't stop them wowing the crowds that turned up to see them at City Hall Lawn and National Museum Cardiff - Rebecca Clews tells us more.

Out and about in Cardiff? While you're out shopping, we’ll be high above your head, working hard to raise a family on the clock tower of Cardiff City Hall.

For us peregrines, tall buildings are just like cliffs - perfect places to build nests and to spot food from.

So why not take a few minutes to watch our spectacular high-speed hunts and see our chicks grow and develop, live, through a special nest camera link-up?

It doesn't cost anything – just come and be wowed. If you would like to, you can donate towards our conservation work.

When can you see us?

RSPB Cymru will on hand to show the peregrines from 4 April to 30 August. You can see nestcam pictures between 10 am to 4 pm from Tuesday to Sunday.

What's at the site?

At City Hall Lawn, Cardiff, our friends from RSPB Cymru will have telescopes for you to use to get the best view of us in action. You can see live images of us from the RSPB's nestcam at National Museum Cardiff. Meals are available at Icons restaurant in the museum and there is a coffee shop for drinks/cakes etc. There are toilets at the museum.

How to find us

City Hall Lawn and National Museum Cardiff are both within walking distance of the train and bus stations, the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle and loads of other facilities.

While you're out and about, why not stop off at one of these?

This date is brought to you in partnership with National Museum Wales and Cardiff City Council.
