Puffin Island wildlife cruises24 May to 21 July 2009
Our home here on Puffin Island is a truly amazing place.
It's a protected seabird colony, where you can experience the sights and sounds of thousands of guillemots and razorbills nesting on the cliffs, and watch Sandwich terns diving for fish and eider ducks and cormorants feeding and squabbling for space.
There's no better way to do this than on a wildlife cruise aboard the catamaran Cerismar Two.
However, it's not just birds that make these waters their home - grey seals are often seen on the far side of the island, and there are also occasional sightings of bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoises.
Our friends from RSPB Cymru will be on board to point out wildlife to you, tell you a little bit about the history of the area and answer any questions. An information stand on the pier has further information, advice and details about other events and activities in the area.
