Young wildlife artists wow judges

Budding wildlife artists were invited to send us their creations as part of the RSPB's WildArt competition.

Run jointly with the Society of Wildlife Artists, the annual competition is split into three age groups: under 8s, 8–12 years and 13 years and over. The winning entrant in each age group wins an art gift voucher worth £100 and the honour of seeing their picture displayed in a top wildlife art exhibition in London.

Six runners-up each win a £25 art voucher, and a special Richie Richardson award for the most accurately drawn animal wins a book voucher worth £100. The pictures will also be printed in Wild Times, Bird Life or Wingbeat magazine.
