Get a fantastic birds-eye view of a white-tailed eagle nest.
It can be tricky catching sight of us soaring above the rocky coasts of Skye.Although when you do, you'll not struggle to believe that we're the UK's largest bird of prey. But why leave our meeting to chance? Pop along to the Aros centre and get up close and personal to me and my family. When possible, a camera positioned close to our nest beams back live video images of our growing family. This fantastic birds-eye view will reveal all the triumphs and hardships of raising our chicks from tiny fluffy balls, to stroppy adolescents, and finally full-grown majestic fledglings.Friendly staff and volunteers are on hand at the centre to tell you about the other wonderful wildlife that inhabits Skye's amazing coastline. They'll also give you some top tips on how and where you might catch a glimpse of me on the wing.Entry to the exhibition is £4.75 for adults, £3.50 for concessions, £2.50 for RSPB members, children under 12 go free. Family tickets (two adults plus two children) are available at £15.
Friendly staff and volunteers will be in the Aros centre daily, 9am - 5.30pm.
The Aros Centre is just south of Portree on the A87.Bus routes to and from Portree to south Skye and the mainland pass the door of the centre.
