From toads and butterflies, to skylarks and crabs, wildlife is all around you in amazing variety at Filey.
Try your hand at rockpooling and enjoy watching the antics of Filey's amazing sealife. Head to Filey Promenade and prepare your senses for plenty of buzzing, chirping, scratching, wading, fluttering, hopping and crawling. This date is totally free - just turn up!
When can you see us?
Friendly staff and volunteers will be at Filey promenade, near the crazy golf course on Sunday and Wednesday, with self guided activities for the whole family to get involved with. Just turn up, join in and have fun.
What's at the site?
Filey promendade has public toilet facilities, along with cafes and everything you could want for an enjoyable day out at the seaside.
The Country Park also has public toilets, a cafe and is a short walk from the town centre and promenade.
How to find us
All walks start at Filey Country Park, near the café.

Follow signs for Filey from the A165 between Bridlington and Scarborough. On approaching Filey follow signs for Filey Country Park at Filey Brigg.
The promenade is the main pathway along the beach at Filey. There are car parks in Filey town, or you can park along the seafront itself.
What should I bring?
Make sure you dress for all weather and all terrain!
