  • Car park : 120 spaces including disabled parking bays adjacent to the visitor facilities; Two additional blue badge spaces available within the reserve close to viewing platforms and viewing facilities - Accessed with a RADAR key. No charges but donations are welcome. Level gravel surface. Automatically-operated gate – opening times are as follows: 1 October to 31 January, 7 am-6.30 pm. 1 February to 31 March, 7 am to 8 pm. 1 April to 30 September, 6 am to 10 pm. An alternative car park managed by Natural England at Ashcott Corner is open outside of these times. Reception building (currently manned at weekends only)

Viewing points

Two open air viewing platforms, five roofed viewing screens and one raised hide.

Nature trails

Access is via the public footpath, or the main track which follows the old Glastonbury to Highbridge railway line. The old railway line leads to viewing areas, walkways (approximately 360 m), some accessible by wheelchair users. Additional trails on rougher terrain extend to cover 3.6 miles (5.8 km).
