Coombes Valley

Surround your class in the colours, smells and sounds of this ancient oak woodland

Coombes Valley is a haven for nature in north Staffordshire.

It's a stunning area of ancient oak woodlands, rocky streams, ponds, flower-filled meadows and grazed pastures, teeming with birds and other wildlife.

Whether in our education shelter constructed from recycled materials, or outside exploring beautiful landscapes and wildlife, we make sure learning is safe, hands-on, thought provoking and fun.

Each season brings changes in the colours, sounds and smells of the woodland, making it ideal for school visits from spring through to autumn.

This is the ideal place to bring your class for an unforgettable experience with nature.

Both children and the staff really enjoyed their visit - the activities were just the right length and the children really gained from their experience.
