Wildlife is facing huge challenges. Species are dying out, climate change is affecting the environment and pressures on land are growing. So what are we going to do about it?

Nature reserves and protected areas were a good start. But on their own, they are not enough to deal with these challenges. We can't just look after small pockets of land because nature is everywhere. We need to increase our efforts across the UK - it is time to think big.

Time to think big

The natural world is under pressure. Nature needs space to adapt to this pressure if it is to thrive. That's where Futurescapes comes in.

In priority areas across the UK - shown on our map - we'll work in partnership with landowners to create space for nature. Together we can make the places that provide public goods and services more wildlife-friendly.

Futurescapes is our chance to do more for wildlife at a bigger scale. If you are a landowner in these priority areas and want to do your bit for wildlife, get in touch with us to have a chat.

Step up for nature

It's not all down to landowners - we're going to be asking everyone to step up for nature in any way they can. Find out about our big campaign to bring nature back.
