40th Anniversary Event

Location: The Pavilion, Bath

DATE NOW CONFIRMED!! DON'T MISS IT!! The Bath group has been formed now for 40 years. Do come along to the Pavillion and help us celebrate this event - former, current and potential members are all welcome. Chris Packham; well-known zoologist, author and photographer and new presenter of the BBC's 'Springwatch' and 'Autumnwatch' will be talking about "100 Things that have caught My Eye" and it is guaranteed to be a fascinating journey through the eyes of Chris and his camera.
Peter Holden from the RSPB will also be attending on the night.
Peter Basterfield, a founder member, has served on the Committee in every capacity except Treasurer throughout our history - a remarkable achievement by any standards. Well done Pete!

Celebrating 40 years of The RSPB in Bath

Join us and Chris Packham to celebrate 40 years of the RSPB in Bath.

The Bath RSPB Local Group is marking its 40th anniversary with an evening of celebration at the Bath Pavilion on Wednesday 25th November at 7.00pm (doors open 6.30pm). Guest speakers will be the new Springwatch and Autumnwatch presenter Chris Packham and the RSPB’s Peter Holden, author of the RSPB Handbook of British Birds amongst many others.

 

Chris will be giving his new talk ‘100 things that have caught my eye,’ a fascinating journey through 100 very different photographs from across the world presented with humour and style. The talk is sure to entertain photographers, travellers and of course wildlife enthusiasts…and fans of Chris Packham!
