Lakenheath in May
Unfortunately, only one driver was available for our May field trip so we made a change to the programme and instead of going to the Peak District as planned, we decided to make the shorter journey to Lakenheath... a very good choice as it turned out. Hen Harriers and Oxfordshire Wetlands
A great start to the year... On 16 January a lively and informative presentation by Jeff Knott on the plight of the Hen Harrier and other birds of prey; followed by the first field trip of the season where we were lucky enough to see one of those fantastic birds.
