Access from Lewes, Rodmell, Southease and Piddinghoe onto footpaths all along the bank of the River Ouse, from where you can see Lapwing, Redshank, Little Grebe, Cormorant, Reed Bunting, Reed Warbler, Common Sandpiper, Snipe, Little Egret, chance of Short-eared Owl and other raptors in winter
