Day trip to France

We now have a date for our French trip - Friday 7th May - with further details to follow. Like last year, we will be taking the ferry, but intend to restrict our birdwatching to areas within easy reach of Calais, so will cut down drastically on the amount of time spent driving. This should also mean we can enjoy a more leisurely day in la belle France, including time for lunch in a cafe. Costs have not been finalised, but should be minimal - in the region of £12-15, which will include a donation to RSPB.
