Peter Ferns, Senior Lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences at Cardiff University, former chair of the Severn Estuary Conservation Group and former member of RSPB Council will be telling us about the effects of the Cardiff Bay Barrage on local birdlife.

Forest Farm Walk

Field trip to WWT Barnes

Location: The coach will leave the car park off Penlline Road in Whitchurch at 8 am, leaving Barnes at 4 pm.

Coach trip to the London Wetlands Centre run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Barnes. Due to new London travel regulations the only vehicle available at reasonable cost is a 16 seater coach. Seats should be booked in advance through Hugh Harrison, 80, Coleridge Avenue, Penarth CF64 2SR, tel 029 2070 4889.
