Glen Chantry - a gem of a garden, seen on TV

With the arrival of summer we are taking a short break from our monthly talks and bird walks. However, in the Events section you will find a number of other activities culminating in our major fund raising event on Bank Holiday Monday, 28th August, at Glen Chantry Gardens, Wickham Bishops. These gardens, featured on television's "Gardener's World", will be open for the benefit of the Chelmsford & Central Essex Group's fund raising projects. In addition to the gardens and plant nursery there will be RSPB stalls and refreshments, so come along between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. for a good afternoon out.
